Frankfurt School invites applicant to Nationally Determined Contributions(NDC) Financing Fellowship Programme 2020 at Germany
NDC was the key to adopting the 2015 Paris Agreement and has a future of being the central to its implementation.
Nationally determined contributions are certral to achieving the long-term goals of the Paris Agreement. NDCs embody each country’s efforts to address climate change. NDC-FFP, funded by the International Development Research Institute (IDRC), supports, promotes and trains exceptional individuals from policy and research who are interested in further:
- enhancing their knowledge and skills on financing NDCs
- to build leadership in NDC finance for enhanced sharing of knowledge and good practices,
- Contributing to online seminars, blogs, publications, reports and journal articles on NDC Finance
- continuous online discussions, Network of peers and leaders in climate change ad finance.
- Promote dialogue and peer learning among researchers and policy makers on best practices on NDC financing
Value of Scholarship
- 50 scholarships and more for a 6 months e-learning certification course on NDC
- Best 20 candidates qualify for further training and workshops
- Two months internship for 1 researcher per cohort
- Guidance by internationally recognized trainers and experts in NDC Finance
- Regular dialogue sessions
Qualification
This Scholarship are for potential and current student who :
- are international or domestic students
- have applied for admission to a Master of Philosophy Research program at ANU
- have a Bachelor degree with a first-class Honors
Ways to Apply
Applicant must submit online using the NDC-FFP Application form . The Application form consist of :
- filling the form in English Language
- submitting Curriculum Vitae(CV) of not more than 5 pages
- Certificate and Letters of reference
- Valid Passport
- Letter of Secondment(if Necessary)
- Motivation statement which indicates your interest, commitment in the programme and how you will stay with the programme
