Berea College Scholarship pays 100% tuition for all students. Berea College is the only school in the United States that provides 100% funding to all enrolled international students for the first year of enrollment and it is a combination of financial aid and scholarships offsets the costs of tuition, room, board, and fees.

Berea College provides 100% funding to 100% of enrolled international students for the first year of enrollment. In subsequent years, international students are expected to save US$1,000 per year to contribute towards their expenses. The College provides summer jobs to international students so that they may meet this obligation.
Accepted international students pay a US$50 entrance fee and a US$2,200 deposit to confirm their enrollment. This deposit can be used by international students for certain expenses during their 4 years of enrollment.
All international students are provided with a paid, on-campus job through the College’s Work Program throughout the academic year. Students may use their wages (about US$2,000 the first year) to cover personal expenses.
Eligibility:
Applicants to Berea College must be students who have strong academic potential and financial need.
Other factors such as community service, leadership qualities, and levels of motivation will also be taken into consideration. The College strongly recommends the following high school curriculum:
• 4 units of English
• 3 units of Mathematics
• 2 units of Laboratory Science
• 2 units of Social Science/History
• 2 units of a foreign language.
