University of Minnesota offers the Global Excellence Scholarship in USA for the 2020/2021 Academic year. All International freshmen and transfer student who are admitted to the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities are considered for a Global Excellence Scholarship.The Scholarship are competitive and based on academic merit.

Eligibility:
- All International freshman and transfer students who complete their applications for full admission by the deadline are automatically considered for the Global Excellence Scholarship
- Global Excellence Scholarship award are contingent upon maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress. For most college, this means maintaining a minimum of 2.0
